Second Baptist Church vision for 2023 is to grow in grace and serve Christ sacrificially; through the love of Christ move mountains of despair and discouragement, by His Spirit challenge disbelief and indifference.
We will continue to serve God and his people.

The Historic Second Baptist Church was organized in 1866. Ever since then, our church has survived multiple building transitions with the help from God. The first church building established was made out of log. In 1995, the second church burned down on Easter Sunday. But like Jesus did on Easter, Second Baptist Church was resurrected, and we rose again. In November of 1997, our current building was born.
Second Baptist Church welcomes everyone from all walks of life. We are a living proof of what God can do as he continues to bless you time and time again.
